Phobias and fears

Phobias
Fear is a natural response we have to danger. It is a survival instinct which help us to avoid threatening or dangerous situations. Phobias can develop when the fear becomes irrational. Phobias can become a problem when they begin to have an impact on or restrict daily activity in everyday life. Many people suffer with a phobia of the dentist, flying, snakes, public speaking to name but a few. The aim of hypnotherapy is to make suggestions to the subconscious mind that will change the way you think of and feel about the phobia. Through a relaxed state you will slowly confront your phobia step by step until you no longer fear it. A phobia is a learned response that can be unlearned successfully. Up to three sessions may be needed for this treatment.
